July Fun

We adjusted quickly to life back at home after our trip out west and Benjamin headed straight to work. Bee and I filled our days with trips to visit friends, the library, and more friends. It almost felt like we had a really short summer, since most of it was 'taken up' with vacation. We tried to see as many friends as we could, although we did not see several of our friends all summer because our schedules interfered. By July, I already felt that our care-free summer days were numbered. We tried to take advantage of the calm, summer schedule.

We had fun swimming with our friends at their pool and were so impressed with little M. She is several months younger than Abigail and she can swim all over the pool, without any aid. Miss Christy spent quite a bit of time working with Bee and teaching her some swimming skills. She is at home in the water, but she is far away from learning to swim. We had a great day and loved playing with them. Thanks also for letting Bee eat most of your cherries.

Here she is, on another day, eating Parmesan cheese with her fingers again.

I just love when I catch her smiling and looking at the camera at the same time. Pigtails are my go-to hairstyle right now. They usually stay in for at least half of the day.
