Flying to Utah

We got to fly out to Utah this summer for my sister's wedding. Abigail and I went out earlier than Benjamin. he dropped us off at the airport and we were on our way. We flew out of Cincinnati and had a horrible experience there with the mean TSA agents, but made our flight, even though he said we wouldn't. Grump. Then we flew somewhere else for our layover, I can't remember where, maybe Denver. We had a FIVE hour layover.

We did a lot of this during our layover.

When we got to our gate, it was still  too early for our flight to Salt Lake City. This is what the gate said:
So close, yet so far. Sigh. I had to look at this sign for at least two hours. Ugh.

We did this, and colored, and ate, and played, and ran on the walking sidewalks, and played, and colored, and walked, etc.

We even shopped. She is now into jewelry and is obsessed with wanting more and more jewelry.

We finally made it onto the plane and were on our way to see family. Woo hoo!

Ugh! Layovers with kids are soooo hard! SLC has a little play area, but I have yet to see them elsewhere.
