Blank Canvas

I gave each of the girls a canvas for art class and asked them to create an underwater scene of some sort. I was expecting an octopus or a turtle. I was surprised, when my daughter, obviously affected by our recent studies, decided to paint the Titanic wreckage. Her friend followed suit. They carefully painted windows and then mixed colors to make the perfect shade for the "rusticles." They also mixed paints to make the perfect shade of water. I love their attention to detail.

Matti's masterpiece.

Here are a few more of her pieces of art.
